Articles of Faith
The Bible:
We believe the Bible, consisting of 66 books, to be the inspired
Word of God, without error, the revelation of His will for the
salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all
Christian faith and holy living. It is important to note that God
does not contradict himself, and has allowed many godly people to
write books of instruction and guidance with the help of the Holy
Spirit (i.e. apocryphal writings or other Christian books).
However, other writings which contradict or are held in precedence
over the Bible of Judaism (from which Jesus taught) or the New
Testament canon established by the 39th festal letter of St. Athanasius, bishop of Alexandria, 367ad, are unacceptable.
God:
We believe in one God existing in three persons: Father, Son and
Holy Spirit. God has always been and will always be the only God.
There were none before Him and shall be none after him.
The Father:
We believe that the Father created all things in heaven and on
earth. He created human beings out of a desire for personal
relationship. After sin entered the world, He also became our
eternal Judge.
Jesus:
We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been
conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a
sinless life and died on the cross as the sacrifice for our sins
according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead
and ascended into heaven.
The Holy Spirit:
We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict men,
making them aware of their sin and the salvation available through
Jesus. He regenerates, guides, instructs, and empowers the believer
for godly living and service.
Man:
We believe that man was created in the image of God and sinless.
After man choose to rebel against the Word of God, sin entered the
world and man became subject to eternal judgment. There is only one
way a man can be saved from the wrath of God. Because God requires
a sacrifice for sin, man must allow the death of Jesus to take the
place of his own eternal damnation, by accepting God's free gift of
salvation and making Jesus Lord of his life.
Salvation:
We believe that the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ provides the
only way of justification and salvation of man. Furthermore, faith
in Jesus' death is sufficient in and of itself to save and any works
of man are only proof of the transforming power of a life given to
the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Accepting the Sinner, Denouncing the Sin:
We believe that Christians should be open and eager to share the
Gospel with everyone regardless of their sin or affliction. However,
true repentance means seeking holiness and running from sin.
Therefore, while being open to all sinners, Christians can not
accept, ignore, or promote any sin as permissible. In fact, it is
our duty to restore to the faith, in love, another Christian who has
fallen to sin.
The Blessed Hope:
We believe that, at a time only known by the Father, Jesus will
return in the glory of God. After this time there will be a final
judgment and God will eternally punish Satan, his angels and all
that rejected Jesus Christ. God will then establish a new heaven
and a new earth void of suffering or death.
Non-Essential Elements:
We believe the above tenets make up the basis of Christian faith on
which all Christians believe and agree. We have intentionally
omitted doctrinal areas (i.e. baptism, predestination, end times) on
which agreement is not essential for salvation or holy living.

possible to insure that each entity is managed by a Christian
individual or organization as defined by the articles of faith
described above.
